I’m Bonni — a front porch sitter, storyteller, and champion of small-town businesses.

For over 13 years, I worked in marketing — helping companies build their brands and reach their audiences. But deep down, I always knew my heart belonged to something more personal, more local, and more meaningful. That’s why I started Front Porch Marketing — to serve the small, hometown businesses that make our communities so special.

Rooted in Community

In my family, front porch sitting wasn’t just something we did — it was part of who we were. It was where conversations flowed, ideas were shared, and futures were dreamed up. Growing up in Washington with deep Southern roots, I learned early on that the porch was more than just a place to rest — it was where real connection happened.

In 2019, I moved to Georgia with my son, Cash. There, I continued the tradition of porch sittin’, this time as a mom sharing those quiet, meaningful moments with my own child. That season of life reminded me how much I value slowing down, staying present, and being rooted in the people around me.

When we returned to Enumclaw in 2021, I fell in love all over again — with the small-town lifestyle, the kind-hearted people, and the sense of community I’d been craving. I stepped away from my 13-year career in marketing and took a job as a nature school teacher, which gave me the chance to connect more deeply with local families and this place we now call home.

Over the past few years, I’ve gotten to know so many of the incredible small business owners in our town. Through those conversations and relationships, I realized that my purpose hadn’t changed — it had just become clearer.
